Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to evaluate the following:
• Suitability and qualifications for a 5-year auditor appointment
• Value for price/cost of the 5-year auditor appointment

The Town’s intent is to provide a fair value for expenditures of public funds. Upon appointment by Council, the Town will enter into further discussions, concluding with a formal 5-year professional services agreement for provision of all services described in the Audit Requirements or as contemplated elsewhere in this RFP.

The Town is required by legislation to submit audited Financial Statements and an audited Financial Information Return to the Minister of Municipal Affairs by May 1st of each year.
