Description

Repair discharge ditch and stabilize erosion area downstream of Fairweather Dam. Fairweather Dam is located on the former Steep Rock mine site, located approximately 10 km north of the Township of Atikokan, ON.
Scope of Work
1. install 15 m of sheet pile wall at 6.0 m depth;
2. strip and clean sloughed material from the existing discharge channel;
3. construct a 300 mm granular with an overlying 600 mm nominal thick rip rap
blanket over the erosion area; and
4. construct 25 m of new discharge ditch complete with rockfill riffles,
All in accordance with the Contract Drawings attached as Schedule 5, the Standard
Specifications attached and incorporated as Schedule 6, and the other provisions of this
Contract
