IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

The Department of National Defence (DND), Real Properties Operations Unit (RPOU) Detachment Borden is responsible for all of the petroleum, oil and lubricant (POL) facilities at CFB Borden, Borden Ontario.

In the performance of this responsibility, there exists a requirement for a Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) Service program in support of RPOU Det. Borden.

For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Bidders should refer to the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html) website;

The period of the Contract is from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2022 inclusive with 3 optional 1-year periods.

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at CFB Borden, 164 Cambrai Road Borden, on 24 August 2020. The site visit will begin at 10:00 AM. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority to confirm attendance and to provide the names of the attendees.
