Description

The University of Calgary (UofC) is currently seeking a medium sized pass-through autoclave that is required to fit an existing biocontainment level 3 laboratory. The containment of Containment Level 3 biohazardous organisms is essential for functioning of the facility and safety. This is a major initiative for the university. The autoclave will be used for the decontamination of rodent caging systems; hard and liquid products in vented and non-vented containers; and other porous loads. All specifications are included in RFP document. However, UCalgary may accept alternative specifications equivalent or higher to the list below. Please indicate all alternative specifications. The University would like delivery by December 1, 2020.
