THERE IS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROCUREMENT.

FMFCS Marine Machinery Shop requires a new valve seat lathe (VSL) to be used as a high pressure air bottle flange facing machine. Currently a machine is owned by NETE and shared between FMFCS and FMFCB which limits the shops ability to quickly respond and complete repairs to HP bottles fitted on HMCS Submarines. With a machine dedicated to FMFCS repairs could be completed immediately without waiting for availability.

BASIS OF SELECTION: Lowest compliant bid & meet mandatory technical specifications

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than seven (7) calendars days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in English.
