The City of Calgary is interested in learning about organizations who provide high quality, robust and secure customer care and billing services for large utilities. Information collected will provide insights on types of services provided, scope of work, functionality, costs, etc. to support value for ratepayer investment in these services.

This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by the City of Calgary (“The City”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements.

The City currently contracts its customer care and billing to a third-party provider. The City is requesting information to learn more about other organizations who provide high quality, robust and secure customer care and billing services for large utilities. This information will give The City a better understanding of the types of services provided, scope of work, functionality, costs, etc. It will support The City’s goal to ensure value for ratepayer investment in these services. The City will not be considering a new third-party contractor at this time.
