Description

1. Digital laboratory benchtop unit, and not a handheld, analog or a portable unit
2. Must be used with highly viscous liquids such as honey
3. Measure refractive index (nD) scale and automatically also display/convert the readings to Moisture % in Honey. Data must be in a format where it is exportable to Microsoft Excel
4. Measuring range of 1.3300 nD to 1.5318 nD, inclusive
5. Precision of ±0.0001 nD over the entire range of measurement
6. Automatic temperature corrected (ATC) readings over the standard minimum ambient operating range of 20 to 30 degrees Celsius (±0.05 Degree Celsius Probe Accuracy, ±0.002 Degree Celsius Probe Stability)
7. Single point auto verification function for daily use (by using water)
8. Sample measurements must be done with the press of a single button, with no additional user manipulation of the instrument required
9. Sample analysis must not require the use of consumables, such as cuvettes.
