Description

The Project TC NCA Terra Canada, is located on the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) existing campus at 1200 Montreal Road, Ottawa.
The Client Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has engaged EBC Inc. to act in the capacity of Construction manager (CM).
The Component 1 portion of the project contains a new three storey building, of a Mass Timber frame structure, of around 51,134 sq.ft (5,215 m2) GFA. This new building will be connected at three levels to a new building with structural steel structure.

Bidders must submit in two (2) envelopes the information of this submittal, but grouped together in the same mailing:
Envelope 1 (Qualification):

Qualification documentation;
Agreement to Bond and Insurance letters
No prices.

Envelope 2* (Financial offer):

Only qualified offers will be opened;
Financial offer for the Design Assist services fees;
Financial offer for the upset price for the supply and installation of the Mass Timber Structure;
No qualification documentation.

*Envelope 2 must have a clear mention on top of the envelope: "Envelope 2 - Financial offer - To be opened only after evaluation of envelope 1".
Bidder’s SOQ shall include a completed and signed copy of Appendix A (fully completed CCDC11-2019) of this RFQ document plus additional documents requested by the RFP.
