This Request for Information (RFI) is an invitation by SaskPower for the purpose of gathering
information regarding the current market practices and capacities for industry to provide staff
augmentation services for industrial project managers, project controls (cost, schedule, risk) and
engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Controls Engineers) resources. Staff augmentation
processes if required would be used to embed vendor resources within SaskPower to execute
projects as per SaskPower’s practices. These projects are focused on the sustainment and
growth of SaskPower’s Generation, Transmission and Distribution systems.
The intent of this RFI will be to solicit feedback from industry on the current industrial capacity
and specific general elements of staff augmentation processes such as identifying clients staffing
needs, professional candidate acquisition, vetting, onboarding processes, client communication
practices and contract management details as further described in Appendix C – Submission Form.
Respondents are requested to provide information in response to the questions found in the
Appendix C Submission Form. A Question and Answer (Q&A) period will be available for
respondents to seek further information or to obtain clarification of the information requested
by SaskPower prior to the submission deadline.
As stated within 7. Presentation and Demonstrations of the RFI document, SaskPower at its sole
discretion, may elect to conduct information sessions with respondents to gain some additional
information or clarity based on the submissions received during this RFI process. If you firm would
be interested in meeting with SaskPower regarding the information requested within this RFI,
please indicate as per the submission form. SaskPower reserves the right to choose the number
of vendors if any that are to be contacted based on the submissions received.
