This procurement is set aside under the Federal government’s Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB) program [A3000T(2014-11-27)]. As the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP), Parsons Inc. (Parsons) is requesting competitive bids for the purpose of selecting the best value firm to provide all services associated with the Surface Care and Maintenance at Giant Mine, located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The Request for Proposal (RFP) price must include the cost for all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the work outlined in this RFP document and according to the attachments defined in this document.

Additional Bidding Instructions

In the Technical portion of the bid, bidders should address clearly and in sufficient depth, the points that
are subject to the criteria against which the bid will be evaluated. Simply repeating the statement
contained in the solicitation is not sufficient. To facilitate the evaluation of the bid, Parsons requests that bidders address and present topics in the order of the evaluation criteria under the same headings. To avoid duplication, bidders may refer to different sections of their bids by identifying the specific paragraph and page number where the subject topic has already been addressed. The technical portion of the bid will be letter-sized, single sided, typed text no smaller than size 11 font, with margins no smaller than one inch. All pages will be included in the Technical portion of the bid. Mandatory submission of Safety Total Recordable Incident Frequency Report for the past three years but Attachment F Indigenous Opportunities Consideration submission is non-mandatory.
