TOWN OF PERTH
WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM UPGRADES

Tenders from Pre-Qualified General Contractors, in sealed tender envelopes, which shall be clearly marked as to its contents, will be received by the CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PERTH, at the Township of Perth’s Main office, Mr.Grant Machan, Director of Environmental services, 80 Gore Rd East, Perth, ON, K7H 1H9, until 3:00:00 p.m. Local time, as recorded by the Township,

On the
TUESDAY, May 30th, 2017(Firm Date)

for the construction of the works described below.
On the same day, commencing at 03:30 p.m. Local time, the tenders will be opened and read publicly by the Tender Committee in the Council Chamber at the above-mentioned address.
The following General Contractors have been pre-qualified:

Louis Bray Construction Ltd.
Fuller Construction Ltd.
JC Sulpher Construction Ltd.
Baseline Constructors Inc.
The following is a general but not necessarily complete description of the works to be constructed under this contract:
Construct and commission all installation required to upgrade the existing Perth WWTP as detailed on the construction drawings. These upgrades include, but are not limited to:
Modify the existing dry Cell#4 to construct submerged attached growth reactors and a storage pond;
Install a new submersible style pump equipped pumping station for feed to SAGR system;
Construct a new (pre-engineered) blower building to house blowers, and associated electrical and building mechanical equipment ;and
And all related mechanical, process, electrical, earth works, yard piping and appurtenances.

A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday May 18th, 2017 at the WWTP located at 390 Wildlife Road, Township of Drummond-North Elmsley, County of Lanark.

Plans, Specifications and Tender Forms may be obtained by contacting the Consultant's Office in Markham upon 24 hours’ notice and payment of a $200.00(including HST) non-refundable printing fee made payable to AECOM Canada Limited. Each tender must be accompanied by bonding in the amount specified in the Contract Documents. Tenders are subject to a formal contract being prepared and executed. The Township of Perth, at its own discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any compliant or non-compliant tenders and advises that the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

As of Monday, May 15th 2017, the tender documents may be studied at the Ottawa Construction Association located at 196 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa ON, K1R 6H4, or the Kingston Construction Association located at 1575 John Counter Blvd., Kingston ON, K7M 3L5.
