Ordering and previewing documents
Pick from multiple ways to receive your orders. If you need paper copies, MERX can provide them. Order a CD or DVD for large projects. You can always preview the projects you order on MERX before you print.
Receiving notification of amendments or cancellations
Automatically receive notification of any amendments or cancellations that the buying organization releases pertaining to tenders that you have ordered.
Identifying potential partnerships
Our Document Request List provides you with a list of all the businesses that have ordered the documents for a particular opportunity. This feature allows you to identify partnering opportunities for projects and gain valuable competitor information.
Keeps a detailed log of all the orders you have placed on MERX, making it easy to reconcile placed orders and charges to your credit card, invoicing, etc. In addition, you can double-check to ensure that you have received all portions of the document, including amendments.
Setting up opportunity matching
This valuable service notifies you when an opportunity that might be of interest to your organization is posted on the MERX service. You provide MERX with a specific profile(s) and we do a daily search for you. MERX will notify you free of charge, by email, fax or online of any opportunities of interest to you.
Access to business intelligence data
Browse through our Former Opportunities Database to research and track buying patterns of Canadian public sector organizations. This allows you to identify key buying periods, upcoming potential initiatives or new markets that you may not have otherwise considered at the federal, provincial or MASH sector levels.
Accessing international opportunities
In addition to the thousands of opportunities available with all levels of Canadian government, you can also search the MERX Canadian Public Tenders service to view open international opportunities. The Canadian Commercial Corporation provides the information for international opportunities on MERX Canadian Public Tenders and only opportunities open to Canadian companies are posted.

MERX provides bilingual support from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Eastern time) Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Physical orders are shipped, faxed or ready for pick-up within 4 hours of being placed.
