Description

The AESO requires wind and solar forecasting data in order to maintain reliable grid operations and to be compliant with ISO rules and technical standards. The objective of this competitive procurement is to procure wind and solar forecasting services for a period of three (3) years and three (3) months. The data will be used by the AESO to manage grid reliability using real time tool such as, power ramp management and real time contingency analysis. The data will also be required to ensure compliance with ISO rules and technical standards related to AGFs.
