201804.10 - Building Envelope Renewal

This Request for Proposal is an invitation to General Contractors to submit proposals for the provision of General Contractor Services for Building Envelope Renewal at 37 Simcoe Street, Victoria B.C. The complex is comprised of three multi-family row house buildings with 10 residential units and a common laundry area. Buildings are 3 storey, wood framed slab on grade, and are located on Simcoe Street between St. Lawrence Street and Dallas Road, in Victoria B.C.  All units will be occupied during construction.
 
The scope of work includes, but not limited to, replacement of existing exterior wall assemblies with new exterior insulated rainscreen cladding, replacement of windows and doors, renewal of stair and balcony assemblies and railings, providing new wood framed canopies, replacement of site fencing and asphalt parking lot. Refer to the Request for Proposal form of contract, issued for tender specifications and drawings for specific descriptions of the scope of work.
