Broadband Service Improvements Almaguin Highlands and Northwest Parry Sound
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to establish the successful vendor (s) to upgrade broadband infrastructure and services to the unserved/underserved communities immediately south, east of, and including the City of North Bay. Specifically, the Township of Armour, the Village of Burk’s Falls, the Township of Joly, the Town of Kearney, the Township of Machar, the Municipality of Magnetawan, the Township of McMurrich/Monteith, the Township of Perry, the Township of Ryerson, the Village of South River, the Township of Strong, the Village of Sundridge, Magnetewan First Nation, Henvey Inlet First Nation and the Unorganized Townships of Laurier, Lount, Patterson, Pringle, Hardy, East Mills, McConkey, Wilson, Blair, Brown, Mowat, Walbridge, Henvey and Harrison .
Blue Sky Net is a Regional Technology Development Organization part of Blue Sky Economic Growth Corporation, contracted by FedNor, the Northern Ontario regional development organization for the Government of Canada, to enhance Broadband connectivity, awareness and applications in the Districts of Nipissing. District of Parry Sound Sudbury East and Manitoulin Island. For the purposes of this RFP Blue Sky Net has received resolutions of support from the above noted municipalities and First Nations.
Vendor (s) have the sole responsibility to register their intention to bid to ensure they receive any addendum or notifications regarding this RFP. A softcopy of the complete bid submission must be submitted no later than 11:59 P.M. local time, Jan 8th 2020. Submissions received after this date will not be accepted.
