BRGPNT2019 - Peace Bridge Repainting Project

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority is presently preparing plans and specifications for an upcoming major recoating project on the Peace Bridge.  This international bridge crossing spans the Niagara River between Buffalo, New York and Fort Erie, Ontario.  The Peace Bridge Recoating Project will involve complete coating removal and replacement of the majority of the structure utilizing abrasive blasting within SSPC Class 1A containment systems. The new coating system will be a two-coat Organic Zinc Rich Primer with a Polysiloxane top coat. 

Bidding on this project will be by invitation based upon a formal prequalification process.  The prequalification process will review the firm’s experience, financial capacity, and health & safety record and other considerations.  Please see the Request for Qualification document at www.peacebridge.com/rfq for more information on the project, and submittal requirements.
