Tenders are invited from General Contractors for the Construction of the John D'Or Prairie Solid Waste Transfer Station for the Little Red River Cree Nation. Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the Consulting Engineer up to 2:00 p.m., M.D.T., Thursday, October 29th, 2020 and will be opened immediately thereafter.
The work includes:
.1 Site preparation, including construction of access roads, excavation and grading of site, ditching and all related geotextile and granular surfacing for the construction of the solid waste transfer station;
.2 Supply and installation of all related site features, including concrete block retaining wall, chain link perimeter fencing and signage;
.3 Construction of a maintenance building;
.4 Provision of roads for ingress and egress to the location of all work required;
.5 Clean up of site;
.6 Repair of defects for one year after completion of the work.
General Contractors may obtain Contract Documents from the Office of the Consulting Engineers for a deposit of One Hundred and Fifty ($150.00) Dollars, which will be refunded provided that the Contract Documents are returned in good condition within 10 days of closing of Tenders.
Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Tendered Amount.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
