Description

The Calgary Stampede Foundation is seeking a Prime Design Consultant to lead the building design and delivery of the SAM Centre.

The SAM Centre will offer an immersive experience of the Calgary Stampede story fueled by technology, storytelling and 21st century progressive museum practices.This means co-creating community-facting programs, rich content development, and delivering an attraction that serves both our local markets and the travel tourism sector. SAM will meet the Calgary Stampede's global reputation for values-driven hospitality, through learning space, access to archives and collections, and active welcoming public spaces.

The SAM centre will sit at the heart of the Calgary Stampede Youth Campus, a dense collection of program-driven spaces that come together to create a vital creative area that interacts with the community-at-large year-round.
