Description

Construction of a new Advanced Nuclear Material Research Centre (ANMRC) on the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) site in Chalk River, ON. The project will be delivered under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) (see www.ipda.ca) model with expected project duration to be approximately 3-4 years in total.
The 21,000 m2 ANMRC is a major part of CNL’s Chalk River Laboratories revitalization and will include the installation of 17 new nuclear hot cells, Class A and B laboratories, and office space to accommodate 176 staff. Construction of the technically complex research facility is anticipated to be complete in 2023.
The project’s allowable cost is approximately $308 Million including hard costs, design fees, fixtures and equipment. With this exciting project, you have opportunity to work on an integrated team.
