Water Services and Solid Waste Services of the City of Ottawa has a requirement for the provision of all labour, equipment, and materials to complete required and legislated inspections, testing, maintenance, rentals, and reporting for electrical power systems related to diesel generators and subsequent peripheral equipment and to complete repairs, including emergency services on an as requested basis in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of RFT No. 15221-93639-T02.
All inquiries regarding this RFT are to be directed to the Contracting Authority specified. Inquiries must be received in writing via MERX not later than Friday, 12 March 2021. Should the MERX system not accept the inquiry, bidders may contact the Contracting Authority by email. Both the questions and answers will be distributed to all potential bidders by way of written addendum, published in MERX, without identifying the source(s) of the inquiry. The City is not obligated to respond to an inquiry or question received after this time period has elapsed. The bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received from the City unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Contracting Authority by way of addendum.
The period of Contract shall be from date of award to 31 March 2022. The City reserves the right to exercise up to four (4) additional one-year extension options for this tender.
