The City of Quesnel invites proposals to design, supply and install a new play environment at Lebourdais Park.
The City of Quesnel is requesting proposals for a turn-key solution to design, supply and install a new
play environment at Lebourdais Park in Quesnel. Located near the arena and downtown, Lebourdais
Park is the premier city park in Quesnel. Given the high profile and importance of this public space, the
City wishes to provide a unique and innovative play environment that creates a distinct “wow” factor
and visual impact. The City initiated a public engagement initiative in the winter of 2016/17 to solicit
the public’s input and understand their preferences for this new playground. A concept plan has been
prepared that reflects the feedback from the community, and is attached to this document for
reference. The attached concept plan identifies the desired location, footprint, and potential playground
equipment to be considered in your proposal. The successful proponent will be required to enter into a
CCDC 2 stipulated price contract with the City of Quesnel for the supply and installation of the
playground equipment.
