The City of Quesnel is seeking a qualified individual to be the Project Coordinator for the implementation of the recommendations of the Quesnel Health Services Review (QHSR).This individual will have experience in social planning and/or health services delivery.
The QHSR has developed an action plan to address gaps in the suite of services provided to residents who are vulnerable to poor health outcomes due to interconnected health and social issues including homelessness, mental health, and social issues including homelessness, mental health, and addictions.
This position will work closely with the Community Caring for People with Addictions Roundtable (CCPA), which oversaw the development of the QHSR and will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Project Coordinator to implement or evaluate and revise the recommendations of the QHSR.
The contract(s) will be awarded as soon as qualified candidates are identified, and will end August 31, 2019.
The Project Coordinator will be required to hire a Peer Coordinator(s) to assist with engaging the Peer community and the Coalition of Substance Users of the North (CSUN) in this process.
