Federation for Canadian Municipalities (FCM) is currently conducting a Request for Proposal of its present group insurance program, including but not limited to the financial, underwriting and administrative arrangements associated with the program. Cowan Insurance Group, Agent of Record acting on behalf of FCM is issuing a Request for Proposal, inviting all interested Canadian-licensed insurers to submit a proposal for the client’s group insurance plan.
Since 1901, FCM has been the national voice of municipal governments. Their membership includes more than 2,000 municipalities of all sizes representing more than 90% of all Canadians from coast to coast. FCM is an advocate for municipalities who ensure that Canadian citizens’ needs are reflected in federal policies and programs. FCM is headquartered in are Ottawa, Ontario and they employ close to 200 employees.
