CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR REMEDIATION PLANNING AT CAM-M HANGAR AREA

Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential contract with no anticipated security requirements. Note that there is no guarantee that this contract will proceed.

Description of the PROJECT and Services
This project relates to Federal Contaminated Site Identifier (FSCI) # 00024959, also known as the CAM‑Main Hangar Legacy Hydrocarbon Plume. The purpose of the project is to reduce environmental liability associated with hydrocarbon-impacted soils from historical activities at in the vicinity of a Hangar at the CAM-M North Warning System (NWS) Long Range Radar (LRR) site in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. Consultant services will include studies and remediation planning activities to facilitate future remediation and/or risk-management activities.
The Consultant will be required to provide the following type of work:

Historical review and Data Gap Analysis;
Environmental Site Assessment, including soil and groundwater monitoring and sampling;
Development of a Conceptual Site Model (CSM);
Topographic surveys; and
Remedial Options Analysis (ROA) including Class D Cost Estimate.

It is anticipated that this solicitation will be initiated in Winter 2023. This is conditional on the contract receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND).
