Description

Background:
The Electric Circuit is Canada’s first and largest public charging network for electric vehicles (EVs). A total of 734 charging stations are in service, including 55 fast-charge stations, offering both 240-volt and 400-volt charging stations powered by clean and renewable energy supplied by Hydro-Québec. The stations are installed in the parking lots of the Circuit’s numerous partners, including Municipalities, institutions, and businesses. Since its launch on March 30, 2012, the Electric Circuit has rapidly expanded to many regions, with continued expansion into new urban areas, and are implemented based on the geographical distribution of EV sales, users’ needs, and partners’ business strategies.

Requirement:
Electric Circuit, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, is seeking bid submissions to provide professional electrical construction services for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations (DCFC) across 15 sites, in support of the DCFC Deployment program to extend the Electric Circuit through North-Eastern Ontario, a program initiated by the Government of Ontario. The following sites are integral project locations :

St-Hubert Gloucester: 2484, St-Joseph Blvd, Orleans
St-Hubert Hawkesbury: 456, County Rd 17, Hawkesbury
St-Hubert Cornwall: 705, Brookdale Avenue, Cornwall
Chinatown Location: Angle Somerset and Cambridge, Ottawa
Fire Station 23 Location: 1445, Carling Avenue, Ottawa
141 Clarence Location: 141, Clarence Street, Ottawa
Terry Fox Park'n Ride Location: Roland Michener Dr, Kanata
