The project involves the construction and improvements to the Rush Drain and the 14th Concession East Drain. The work entails the relocation of 1,275 metres of the Rush Drain including brushing, excavation and trucking to fill in existing drain, hydro-seeding, new access culverts for Bell Avenue and pedestrian trail, stone erosion protection and wildlife exclusion fencing. In addition, there is the enclosure of the No Name Drain including 538 metres of existing ditch to be replaced with an overland swale and six (6) catch basins complete with outlet pipes to the relocated Rush Drain, stone erosion protection, fine grading, topsoil placement, hydro-seeding and sediment control measures. For the 14th Concession East Drain, the work entails a drain bottom cleanout for 566 metres from King's Highway No. 3 to Pinkerton Road including brushing, excavation and levelling, cleaning of three (3) existing culverts, and stone erosion protection.
