Description

This Request for Capabilities (“RFC”) is an invitation by Export Development Canada (“EDC”) for businesses to qualify for the eligibility to negotiate with EDC. EDC is seeking a qualified business with the capabilities to become EDC’s strategic partner(s) in its upcoming technology transformation, as further described below in Section 1.2(1) and Section 2. The RFC process seeks to identify potential candidates to engage in the negotiations as to the role of such a strategic partner. The RFC Number is 22-774 (the “RFC Number”).

The purpose of this RFC is to assist EDC in finding a strategic partner that will play a critical role in accelerating EDC’s technology transformation. EDC may choose one single Respondent to both transform and run EDC’s technology landscape (the “Partner”) or EDC may choose multiple Respondents to run or to transform EDC’s technology landscape. For clarity, Respondents must submit a complete Response but may only be selected to proceed through the process as a Run-only or Transform-only partner. Respondents may choose to submit a Response as a joint venture or, in accordance with this RFC Section 7.1, EDC may choose to invite one or more Respondents to combine aspects of its Response and negotiate a final joint response.
