FCC is seeking a service provider with significant expertise in property and casualty insurance and, ideally with knowledge of the agricultural production environment to conduct a comprehensive review of the risk mitigation landscape and analysis of products and solutions available in the market. The scope includes an industry scan and gap analysis from a North American perspective and, if judged relevant, internationally. The objective is to inform FCC decision in finding the best and most innovative solution for its customers and ultimately identify investment opportunities for the FCC Capital group.
The work is estimated to be completed in 1-2 months and a contract will be awarded based on a competitive RFP. Estimates in the business case are based on previous similar engagement and will be refined through procurement processes.
For this project, the service provider will work closely with FCC in the following key deliverables and activities:
Agribusiness financial services: provide a comprehensive analysis of the industry, its current state, trends, and future outlook. Evaluating the performance of key companies, market dynamics, innovations, and regulatory influences. Provide data on market size, growth rates, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities and challenges within the industry.
Differentiated products and solutions: provide a comprehensive list of available solutions and associated merits and risks, among others: income insurance, yield insurance, crop insurance, livestock insurance, whole farm insurance, forward contract insurance, etc.
Provider to work with our team for about 4-6+ weeks based on the scope's size and complexity (timelines may vary). The engagement will be complete by May 30, 2025. Respondents should include in their response how they will carry out their proposed approach and estimated costs. Note, virtual workshops may be required.
We aim to start this effort early-March 2025. A kick-off meeting with the teams would be established to (1) refine the detailed approach; and (2) develop an initial roadmap for the scope and Team to help.
