Work of this Contract comprises work at the Schools and Teacherages:
Elementary School 4683m2 (50,407sf):
.1 Building envelope repairs
.2 Roof upgrades to provide venting and modified bituminous roofing..
.3 masonry repointing and repairs.
.4 Metal siding installation.
.5 Removal of existing and installation of new playground equipment.
.6 Add crushed rock at entrances.
High School 4683m2 (50,407sf):
.1 Roof repairs and partial replacements.
.2 Repointing of Masonry.
.3 Replace failed masonry with metal siding.
.4 Recaulking masonry control joints, doors, and windows.
.5 Clean masonry of mould and apply anti-graffiti coating.
.6 Repair windows with missing polycarbonate glazing and associated sashes.
.7 Replace overhead door.
.8 Replace outdoor play equipment.
Teacherages:
.1 Complete water remediation in Duplex 1 to 4.
.2 Complete mould remediation in Duplex 23 and 25.
.3 Refer to DST’s report at the end of this section for complete scope of work.
Separate Price #1
.1 Provide separate price to upgrade the existing roof to a vented roof with
modified bituminous membrane roofing.

A chartered plane is available to General Contractors leaving Thunder Bay, Ontario at 9am EST December 8, 2023, and leaving Sioux Lookout, Ontario at 9am CST. The Charter flight will be returning the same day and arrive in Sioux Lookout, Ontario at 3pm CST in Sioux Lookout, Ontario and 5pm EST in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Contractors are to confirm that they will be passengers on the flight by 5pm EST Decmber 5, 2023. They will also indicate which airport they will be picked up at.
