Description

This project consists of rehabilitation of a potable water treatment plant located in the community of Chateh, Alberta. This project includes various required repairs to multiple systems, including pumping, treatment, process, mechanical, electrical, controls, HVAC, etc.

The General Contractor’s scope of work shall include:

Working with the Nation and ISL to identify and prioritize the necessary repairs required to restore the WTP to acceptable operational conditions.
Completing these repairs in a timely manner once approved by the Nation and ISL.
Assisting the Nation’s Operations staff in troubleshooting / diagnosing various issues within the WTP as required.
Re-training the Nation’s Operations staff on required maintenance equipment and processes and working with the Consultant on training relative to design intent and operations.
Any other tasks as requested by the Nation.

The Dene Tha’ First Nation invites Proposal Submissions from interested General Contractors for the Chateh Water Treatment Plant Repairs project. It is the intention of the Nation to select a General Contractor with experience in construction, start-up, commissioning, and rehabilitation of potable water treatment plants (WTP). The selected General Contractor may have the opportunity to be retained long-term on a cost plus basis after this project is complete.
