You are hereby invited to submit price quotations for the above noted vehicle in accordance with the following guidelines and general specifications. These specifications will be followed where possible and any difference will only be of a minor nature with a written explanation. All bidders must submit a detailed specification summary.
Tenders will be accepted up until 3: 00 PM Monday, December 28th, 2020. Tender documents should be clearly marked “Tender # 2020-386-0001 Plow Truck”.
Any equipment supplied against this tender is subject to inspection upon receipt and could be rejected and returned if specifications are not satisfactory. Upon delivery of the vehicle a full inspection will be carried out and any discrepancies found will be required to be corrected by the supplier. Should this not be an option, the corrections will be performed by the SAA or a designate and the costs will be deducted from the vehicle bid price.
It is hereby understood and agreed that the J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport Authority reserves the right to cancel the purchase order given to the successful tender if delivery of the equipment as specified is not or cannot be made as stated. Delivery of the units shall be on or before June 30th, 2021. A late penalty may be applied of $ 1, 000 CAD per day.

Tender price shall include license and registration costs. All applicable taxes must be included in the tender price.
J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport Authority reserves the right to reject the lowest or any quotation. Any tender not conforming to the Specifications and these General Terms and Conditions may be rejected.
The bidder shall provide a point-by-point response to all requirements laid down in the tender.
Standard equipment shall be accepted on the unit tendered, except where specifications indicate otherwise.
Delivery date must be filled in the space provided in the summary quotation.
Specifications are set forth as being the minimum requirements of the unit to be purchased. Where certain specific measurements or requirements are mentioned, it is expressly understood that the words “or equal” shall apply. Accordingly, it is essential that all bidders must submit complete detailed specifications on the unit and components quoted.
Parts and service manuals to be supplied at time of delivery and must include detailed information on the fuel injection and emissions systems.
Faxed tender bids will not be accepted.
Unit must be new and in production (not a prototype). It must be clearly understood that the specific requirements as stipulated in the specifications are not to favor one supplier over another, and therefore, where a dispute arises out of the intent of certain requirements or specifications, the J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport Authority reserves the right to act as sole arbitrator in determining the legitimacy of all matters in dispute.
