20190201 - Information Technology Managed Services

Jewish Vocational Service of Metropolitan Toronto (JVS Toronto or JVS) is accepting proposals from organizations interested in participating in the Proposals process for its Information Technology Managed Services (ITMS). This RFP is not necessarily a reflection on the services of the Incumbent Vendor; rather, JVS Toronto believes that periodically taking major contracts to RFP is a best practice.  This is reflected in the JVS Toronto Purchasing Policy, and that policy has driven the current requirement to go to RFP.  JVS Toronto is actively seeking an ITMS vendor that provides the optimal balance of cost, expertise and timeliness, while maintaining maximum flexibility in its approach.
 
JVS Toronto has gross operating revenues of approximately $16 million with a staff complement of 160 FTE’s spread across seven major and two small locations in the GTA.
 
JVS Toronto has a Director of Information Systems and relies heavily on outsourced managed services for Information Technology support.
 
JVS Toronto is seeking a vendor who can provide a seamless transition from our current Vendor (if the current Vendor does not have the successful proposal) and provide ongoing consultation and guidance.
