W-810.04 - Wabaseemoong Independent Nations - Pre-Qualification for Phase One Subdivision

Wabaseemoong Independent Nations (WIN) is proceeding with Phase One of a new subdivision including servicing of 61 proposed and providing water service to 6 existing lots. WIN is located approximately 320 km northwest of Kenora, on the north shore of the Winnipeg River. The community is accessible year-round by road.

The general scope of work consists of:

• Underground piping works including the following approximate quantities:
  • Approximately 16, 800 m3 clearing and 107,400 m2 of grubbing and disposal
  • 2,850 m3 of bedrock trench blasting and removal
  • 1,170 m of 200 mm gravity sewer piping in new residential development areas
  • 1,420 m of sewer service piping to service 61 new lots
  • 396 m of 150 mm forcemain piping
  • The supply and installation of a sewage lift station
  • 1,365 m of 150 mm mainline watermain piping
  • 306 m of 300 mm mainline watermain piping
  • 1,930 m of water service piping to service 61 new lots and 6 existing buildings
• Roads, driveways, sidewalks and paths, drainage ditches, and lot grading:
  • Approximately 6,000 m3 of bedrock blasting and removal
  • 16,000 m3 of road excavation
  • Supply and installation of 670 m of 450 mm, 170 m of 600 mm, and 45 m of 900 mm culverts
  • Construction of approximately 1300 m of gravel roadway and ditches
  • Reconstruction of 100 m of existing roadway and regrading of ditches
  • 1,100 m of gravel sidewalk and path
  • 450 m of drainage ditch
  • 28,090 m2 of hydro seeding
  • 99,000 m2 of lot grading including lot swales and 61 house pads
