Sealed bids for the construction of the Rivers Community Daycare within Rivers Collegiate in Rivers Manitoba will be received at the office of Owner or Architect on Monday June 25, 2018 before 2:00:00 p.m. local time.
The project consists of renovations to convert three existing classrooms and adjacent corridor located at the northwest corner of Rivers Collegiate to become a 32 licensed space child care facility for Riverdale Community Daycare. The 3 classrooms total approx. 2,250 sq. ft. of floor space. Work to include associated mechanical and electrical work, and the replacement of approx. 82 linear feet of exterior wall and windows along the west elevation of the school.

A mandatory site visit for all General Contractors, and Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors bidding will be held on Thursday May 31, 2018, commencing at 12:00 pm (noon) local time. Attendees to assemble at Rivers Collegiate General Office, Rivers Manitoba. The site visit is mandatory for all General Contractors, and Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors who wish to submit bids for this project. Failure to attend will result in bid not being accepted. Other Subcontractors are welcome, but not required to attend.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond taken out with an approved Bonding Company in the amount of 10% of the submitted bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an approved surety company Performance Bond for 50% of the contract price upon signing the contract.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted. Late submissions will be returned unopened.
