SUBMISSION OF BID, BID OPENING

Submission of tender for this project thereby stipulates that the Contractor is familiar with site conditions, requirements of the contract documents and specifications, provincial and local codes, the environment of labour and material markets, and that the Contractor has made due allowance for all contingencies.

Site inspections can be arranged with the owner, by contacting the owner prior to tender close. Claims for any extras, costs, change orders, etc., on the basis of site conditions that could have been reasonably ascertained with a thorough inspection of the site will not be considered.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the owner reserves the right to hold an additional pre bid site meeting, at his sole discretion.

Bids will be opened in public at the Owner’s office immediately following the tender close.

Bid packages that do not include a signed copy of the "Bidders Certification Form - Legislative and Safety Requirements" by the bidder will be disqualified.
