The purpose of this Request for Vendor Qualification (“RFVQ”) is to provide the Information Technology (IT) Mainframe Support Services described in 1.2 and to simplify procurement for these services that may be required from time to time by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”).

Following completion of this RFVQ, Proponents determined to be qualified to provide the requested services, selected through the evaluation process as described in this RFVQ, and who have entered into an Information Technology Agreement (in the form attached to this RFVQ as Attachment I) with Manitoba, will be placed on a Master Pre-Qualified Proponent List.

The Agreement will be for a one (1) year term that may be extended for periods of one (1) year, up to a maximum total of two (2) additional years at discretion of Manitoba. The award of an Agreement does not guarantee or imply any maximum or minimum amount of work will be available or engaged by Manitoba

During the Term, the Service Provider agrees to offer services that are the same, or substantially the same, as the Services to Public Sector Organizations at the terms and conditions identified in the Information Technology Services Agreement (Attachment I) and at prices that do not exceed the Charges charged by the Service Provider to Manitoba for the Services.
