Description

This is a public tender open to all Bidders. Any resulting Contract will be in the form of a CCDC2 (2008) Stipulated Price Contract as amended by Manitoba Housing Supplementary Conditions.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor to supply materials to replace/repair approximately 55 pressure treated wood decks and landings at various locations in Churchill, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement or repair of concrete pads, beams, framing, decking, railing and stairs. See attached site plan, deck plan and structural design. It is the responsibility of the contractor to obtain and pay for any permits and confirm any requirements of the Town of Churchill to conduct business in town.
If Bidders are interested in attending a site visit, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the Project Manager, Mike MacVicar, at 204-232-0195. Manitoba Housing provides all tenants 48 hours notice prior to entering a unit. All Bidders requesting to view the interior of an occupied site must allow Manitoba Housing time to provide notice to the tenants.
Deadline for questions is May 16, 2019. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at denise.borys@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at mike.macvicar@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline is May 23, 2019 at 2:00:00 P.M. Central Standard Time. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the ebid requirements.
