SCOPE OF WORK
The Work shall consist in the supply of all supervision, labour, plant, tools, equipment, materials (including but not limited to granular base, concrete and asphalt), transportation, insurance, and warranty of workmanship and materials supplied by the Contractor, as required to supply and install asphalt road repairs, sidewalk and concrete curb repairs to meet the most recent revision of the City of Brandon Standard Construction Specifications, all in accordance with this Request for Quotation. The work shall be performed within a 160km radius of the City of Brandon.
Asphalt road repairs shall include saw cutting where necessary, the removal of any excess materials, supply and install a minimum 150mm of granular base, compaction, supply and install 100mm lift of asphalt, all in accordance with the most recent revision of the City of Brandon specifications.
Concrete curb repairs shall include saw cutting where necessary, the removal of any excess materials, supply and install concrete curbs all in accordance with the most recent revision of the City of Brandon specifications.
All concrete curb repair and asphalt road repair Work on Public Right of Way shall be completed as stated in the latest revision of the City of Brandon Standard Construction Specifications.

CONTRACT DURATION/WORK SCHEDULE
The Purchaser expects the work to commence on or about July 1, 2017 for a period of one (1) year to June 30, 2018 and will be on an as required basis. The Purchaser reserves the right to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
The Purchaser will typically provide the Contractor with 48 hours prior notice to schedule work unless otherwise mutually agreed. In carrying out the Work, the Contractor shall have reasonable latitude to organize the sequence of the Work, provided that the various stages of the Work are completed by the specified date(s) or the date(s) proposed by the Contractor and accepted by the Purchaser.
Final restorations shall commence immediately after the utility work has been completed, weather permitting, as requested by the Purchaser.
