The Work of this Bonded Tender No.:7061 is generally described below:
For the purpose of this contract, the Department will be providing chip seal aggregate for Section I thru V and the Contractor will be responsible for supplying aggregate for Sections VI thru XI.
The Contractor will be responsible for the supply of the emulsion for all sections.
As outlined in the Special Provisions, the contractor will be responsible for all construction aspects of the graded chip seal operations.
Section I - Vicinity of Flin Flon
Application of Graded Aggregate Chip Seal on Provincial Trunk Highway 10 from Cranberry Portage to 24.2km North of Cranberry Portage, for a total construction distance of approximately 24.2kms in the Municipality of Kelsey.
Section II - Vicinity of The Pas
Application of Graded Aggregate Chip Seal on Provincial Trunk Highway 10 from Provincial Road 287 to 25.7km North of Provincial Road 287 (Wanless), for a total construction distance of approximately 25.7kms in the Municipality of Kelsey.
Section III - Vicinity of Cross Lake
Application of Graded Aggregate Chip Seal on Provincial Trunk Highway 373 from PR 374 (Whiskey Jack) to Minago River, for a total construction distance of approximately 23.2kms in Unorganized Territory.
Section IV - Vicinity of Gillam
Application of Graded Aggregate Chip Seal on Provincial Trunk Highway 632 (Split Lake Access) from Provincial Road 280 to Split Lake, for a total construction distance of approximately 6.1kms in Unorganized Territory.
