The Work of this Bonded Tender No.:6819 is generally described below:
SECTION I – PROVINCIAL TRUNK HIGHWAY 9
Site 1
Install two (2) precast concrete culverts by trenching and remove two (2) existing corrugated steel culverts on Provincial Trunk Highway 9, on the north side of the south junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Provincial Road 232, in the Municipality of St. Andrews.
Site 2
Install one (1) precast concrete culvert by jacking and fill one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert on Provincial Trunk Highway 9, on the south side of the junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Provincial Road 225, in the Municipality of St. Andrews.
Site 3
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert on Kernstead Road, east of the junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Kernstead Road, in the Town of Winnipeg Beach.
Site 10
Install one (1) precast concrete culvert by jacking and fill one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert on Provincial Trunk Highway 9, 830m south of Kernstead Road (on the south side of the ½ mile field crossing), in the Municipality of St. Andrews.
Sites A-1 to A-12
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert at each of the twelve (12) culvert sites on the west side of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 between Epsilon Avenue and the junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Kernstead Road, in the Town of Winnipeg Beach.
SECTION II – PROVINCIAL ROAD 225
Site B-1
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert on the south side of Provincial Road 225 (Whytewold Road), approximately 1.11km east of the junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Provincial Road 225, in the Municipality of St. Andrews.
Sites B-2 to B-6
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove two (2) existing corrugated steel culverts at each of the five (5) culvert sites on the south side of Provincial Road 225 (Whytewold Road) between Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and the junction of Provincial Road 232 and Provincial Road 225, in the Village of Dunnottar.
SECTION III – PROVINCIAL ROAD 232
Site 4
Install two (2) corrugated steel culverts by trenching and remove two (2) existing corrugated steel culverts on Provincial Road 232, immediately south of the junction of Provincial Road 232 and Provincial Road 225 on Whytewold Road, in the Village of Dunnottar.
Site 6
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert on Kernstead Road, immediately west of the junction of Provincial Road 232 and Kernstead Road, in the Town of Winnipeg Beach.
Site 7
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove two (2) existing corrugated steel culverts on Provincial Road 232, immediately north of the junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Kernstead Road, in the Town of Winnipeg Beach.
Site 8
Install two (2) corrugated steel culverts by trenching and remove three (3) existing corrugated steel culverts on the right turn cut-off at the junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Kernstead Road, in the Town of Winnipeg Beach.
Site 9
Install two (2) corrugated steel culverts by trenching and remove one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert on Provincial Road 232, approximately 1.31km east of the south junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Provincial Road 232, in the Municipality of St. Andrews.
Sites C-1 to C-7
Install one (1) corrugated steel culvert by trenching and remove two (2) existing corrugated steel culverts at each of the seven (7) culvert sites on the south side of Provincial Road 232 (Gimli Road) between the junction of Provincial Road 232 and Provincial Road 225 and Crescent Boulevard, in the Village of Dunnottar.
Sites D-1 to D-14
Install two (2) corrugated steel culverts by trenching and remove one (1) existing corrugated steel culvert at each of the fourteen (14) culvert sites on the north side of Provincial Road 232 (Matlock Road) between the south junction of Provincial Trunk Highway 9 and Provincial Road 232 and Gimli Road, in the Municipality of St. Andrews.
