Description

In 2009, Manitoba Infrastructure (MI) engaged the University of Manitoba to instrument one girder line of a 258 m long seven span steel girder bridge in the Province to continuously monitor for signs of overloading and fatigue cracking. The existing monitoring system has reached the end of its service life and needs to be replaced.

MI requests a quote for the supply, installation and continued monitoring of this girder line for a period of five (5) years. The continuation of the monitoring will be subject to budget approval each fiscal year and may be extended for future years at MI’s discretion.
