Manitoba Public Insurance, Request for Pre-Qualification #3373 City of Winnipeg Towing Diversification
Manitoba Public Insurance is releasing this RFPQ to identify and pre-qualify up to five (5) towing service providers who can meet the diverse and dynamic needs of our organization within the City of Winnipeg by completing a portion of approximately thirty thousand (30,000) tows annually in accordance with the towing assignment approach listed in this RFPQ. MPI is seeking Vendors who demonstrate exceptional reliability, efficiency, and professionalism in their towing operations, as more fully described in the RFPQ document.
This RFPQ aims to establish a pool of qualified towing Vendors who can be called upon as needed, ensuring that we have access to the best possible services at competitive rates. Vendors who meet the pre-qualification criteria will be invited to participate in providing towing services for our customers during the period from June 30, 2025 to September 13, 2026 with two optional one year renewals. For clarity once the Vendors have been selected under this RFPQ, no further Vendors will be added during the Term of the Agreement or any of the potential renewal terms.
We encourage all interested and capable towing service providers to submit their qualifications and demonstrate their ability to meet our stringent requirements. Through this process, MPI aims to build strong partnerships with Vendors who share our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in the City of Winnipeg.
Mandatory Site Visit attendance:
Mandatory Site Visit will be held March 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM at 1981 Plessis Road, and 400 Gunn Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, as more fully described in the RFPQ document, Section 4.02 Schedule of Events, Mandatory Site Visit. Vendors are to attend Building A Training Room to sign in and receive a 5-10 minute presentation after which the tour will begin.
Prior to the Site Visit Participating Vendors shall confirm their attendance by email to the email address listed in, and in accordance with Section 4.01.
The final date for submissions is April 17, 2025. Other dates of significance are contained within the body of the RFPQ.
