Prairie Mountain Health (PMH), on behalf of the participating site Town Centre, is accepting proposals from Proponents for the provision of supplying and installing network drops. The locations are spread out across 5 distinct areas within the Town Centre and for the purpose of this project will be referred to as: the Former ARHA space, Corporate Office\Home Care Space, the Former MTS Space, Mental Health Space, and Public Health Space. The scope of this Agreement includes the following:
- Supply and Install Systimax/CommScope Dual Cat 6 Network cabling and jacks as per Diagram of Schedule “I” – Wi-Fi Network Layout (50 – Commscope M102SMB-B-262 – Two Module Surface Mount Box.1000ft - Systimax 1071ELB423W1000 light blue color Cat 6, UTP solid cable.100 – Jack Systimax MGS400-318 Cat 6 jack gigaspeed – UTP jack, blue color.)
- There are 7 existing Wireless Access Point (WAP) locations which may be able to be reused.If they cannot be reused, then the existing infrastructure (eg. cable, jacks and mounts) will be removed.
- Supply and install 3 new Systimax/CommScope 2U Patch Panels (1 per cabinet) in Town Centre (Public Health, Mental Health & Home Care) to accommodate new drops. (Commscope Systimax 360 Gigaspeed x10D-360-IPR-1100-E-GS6-2U-48)
- Label patch panel and network drops following existing numbering formats at Town Centre.
- Install PMH supplied WAP and patch into new data port with PMH supplied patch cables.
- Test all new drops to appropriate Cat 6 Standards.
- Installation must follow CommScope/Systimax cabling standards as per CommScope/Systimax Certification.
- Provide documentation of WAP specific MAC address for installed location and port number.
The Selected Proponent will provide labour, materials, equipment, and supervision, as required to perform the Services. Proponent is responsible for repairing any firewalls modified to accommodate installation of network drops.
