Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified consulting engineering companies to provide services for the work as described in Section 5 and for the City of Steinbach (City) to enter into an Agreement with the Proponent whose proposal is judged to serve the best interests of the City.
The 2026 McKenzie Avenue Wastewater Sewer Capacity Functional Design Study generally consists of:

Analyzing and determining the feasibility of installing a new gravity wastewater sewer along McKenzie Avenue to increase hydraulic capacity or installing a new force main from Lift Station #3 to further downstream and upgrading Lift Station #3 to accommodate the additional length of force main.
Providing a functional design for the chosen alternative.
