DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:

The Work consists of supplying all labour, materials and plant, except as herein provided, and performing all Work identified necessary to repair, rehabilitate and strengthen the 7-Bay Sluiceway structure at the Slave Falls Generating Station.Descriptions of ITEMS of the Work listed below are provided as a general overview. Detailed Purchaser’s Requirements are provided in the Technical Requirements and on the Purchaser’s Drawings.
1. 1. ITEM 1: Mobilization and Demobilization
  2. ITEM 2: Supply and Installation of an extension to the existing stoplog crane platform structure and
    associated works
  3. ITEM 3: Supply, installation and removal of a modular steel cofferdam around Piers 2-6
  4. ITEM 4: Construction of downstream concrete extensions at existing Piers 2-6.
  5. ITEM 5: Supply, installation and testing of post tensioned foundation anchors.
  6. ITEM 6 Supply and installation of steel plate confinement around existing Piers 2-6
  7. ITEM 7: Miscellaneous concrete repairs
  8. ITEM 8: Grout injections for cracks and voids
  9. ITEM 9: Grout injections in the gate guides
  10. ITEM 10: Rock Excavation (Purchaser’s Option)
  11. ITEM 11: On-the-Job Training (Purchaser’s Option

Slave Falls Generating Station located approximately 180 km northeast of Winnipeg.

Slave Falls is located approximately 170 km northeast of Winnipeg, 12 km downstream from Point du Bois on the Winnipeg River. Access is off of PR 313 by private road owned and maintained by Manitoba Hydro.

Each Proponent will be responsible for any costs that are incurred by Manitoba Hydro or the Proponent in connection with the Proponent's attendance at the Site.
