D2. SCOPE OF WORK
D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist, but is not limited to, the
removal and replacement of washroom fixtures, partitions, finishes, plumbing and electrical
systems, as summarized below and detailed in the attached construction drawing.
D2.2 Refer to the attached construction drawings for exact locations, dimensions, details
and specifications.
D2.3 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Remove and dispose of all existing toilet partitions, plumbing fixtures, accessories,
lockers, floor finishes, electrical devices, and any abandoned wiring in accordance with applicable
codes.
(b) Install new toilets, lavatories, vent and sanitary lines, and connect to existing domestic
water and drainage systems, while retaining some existing plumbing infrastructure such as the floor
drain and shower.
(c) Install new lighting, switches, receptacles, emergency lighting, smoke detectors, automatic
door operator circuits, and humidity controls, while relocating and rewiring existing circuits as
required.
(d) Retain and protect all existing HVAC components including the exhaust fan, supply ductwork,
diffusers, air transfer grille, and baseboard heater.
(e) Install new toilet partitions and accessories, and reinstall selected salvaged accessories at
new locations as specified in the drawings.
(f) Install new automatic door operators and related controls with a dedicated power supply and
"push-and-go" functionality.
(g) Patch and paint walls and doors, and install new vinyl flooring, rubber base, and acoustical
ceiling tiles as needed to match existing finishes.
(h) Coordinate all work across disciplines and ensure compliance with relevant City standards,
building codes, and sustainable material handling requirements.
D2.4 The funds available for this contract are $107,000.
