043394 - CALL FOR POWER: INDIGENOUS MAJORITY-OWNED WIND

REQUEST FOR QUALIFIED SUPPLIERS CALL FOR POWER: INDIGENOUS MAJORITY-OWNED WIND  SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES:
Pursuant to Manitoba’s Affordable Energy Plan, Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request for Qualified Suppliers (RFQS) #043394 to work towards procuring the output of up to 600 MW of new utility-scale wind generation in southern Manitoba in accordance with the terms of one or more Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
This RFQS establishes a two-stage procurement process. The first stage is the identification of Qualified Suppliers for specified categories of goods and/or services and the award of a Framework Agreement to each. A Framework Agreement is not a contract for the provision of goods and/or services. It sets out the process by which the contract will be created and the contract terms and conditions that will apply.The second stage of the procurement occurs as and when Manitoba Hydro requires goods and/or services. Manitoba Hydro will issue a request to Qualified Suppliers and those interested may submit a proposal. After evaluating proposals, Manitoba Hydro may issue a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) which is a contract for the provision of the contemplated goods and/or services.  
SCHEDULE:
The only scheduled event at this time is RFQS.
RFQS Submission Close date:  JANUARY 23, 2026, 16:00 hours(Manitoba local time).
