Description

The Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba (“LGCA”) is issuing this request for proposals (“RFP”) as part of its research program that supports public education initiatives. The purpose of the RFP is to solicit proposals from a qualified organization or individual consultant (“candidates”) to lead consultations with education stakeholders on current substance-use education initiatives in Manitoba schools, with a specific focus on alcohol and cannabis-related education for middle years (aged 10 to 14) and senior years students (aged 14 to 18) (“project”). Key findings from the consultations will be used to inform potential approaches to educate Manitoba youth on the potential risks that come with early alcohol and cannabis use. The successful candidate (“consultant”) will work closely with the LGCA to ensure the consult work meets its objectives. The consultant must complete the project by November 10, 2025.

Proposals must be structured in such a way that the cost of the entire proposal and each component of the cost are clear. Proposals must include a total fixed cost for the entire project as well as a breakdown of proposed fees and expenses and a proposed payment schedule.
