The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) invites firms to submit a Proposal for the following: To provide daily (Monday to Friday prior to 7:00 a.m.) garbage removal services [including supply of front loading six (6) cubic yard bin with lockable lids], located outside the WCB's office building at 333 Broadway, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Description of Services
The Contractor will be required to provide daily garbage removal (5X per week Monday to Friday prior to 7:00 a.m.) and supply a six (6) cubic yard bin with lockable lids which will be stored in a designated enclosure on the North side of the WCB's office facilities located at 333 Broadway, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The Contractor must complete the regular daily garbage removal prior to 7:00 a.m. if done on a Business Day, to ensure safety of WCB staff and clients accessing the back of the WCB's office facilities from the parking lot also located on the North side of 333 Broadway.
The WCB may request additional pickups on an "as-needed basis", which must be coordinated with the WCB's Facilities staff for a mutually agreeable time to ensure a safe pickup time if it must be done between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on a Business Day.
The Vendor must have the following experience and knowledge:
a) 10 years' experience in commercial office garbage removal services in Winnipeg, MB.
The Proposal should include an overview of the proposed resource(s) being offered, including profiles of work which highlight their experience performing similar projects.
Even if the Contractor is not required under The Workers Compensation Act to have and maintain workers compensation coverage in Manitoba, the WCB shall require the Contractor to purchase and maintain workers compensation coverage for its workers who will be providing the Services in Manitoba.
The Services shall be provided onsite at the WCB's facilities and from the Contractor's facilities located in Canada, as applicable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
It is expected the Services will be required for an initial period of 60 (5) months/years with a preferred start date of October 14th, 2025.
