This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Safety Host Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The purpose of this request for proposal is to find a supplier that can assist in embedding a trauma-informed, relational approach to safety and client engagement within a health and social services setting (Community Safety Host Services). The Supplier will act as a relational ambassador for the site—welcoming clients, de-escalating crises, and providing warm hand-offs to internal and external services. All services will align with WRHA mission, vision and values and in particular will support prioritizing of safety, dignity, well-being and respectful engagement.
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for one (1) optional term of two (2) years.
In consideration of Shared Health’s procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, for this solicitation, preference will be given to Canadian and Non-US suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. Shared Health may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.
